The title for this site comes from a series of e-mail discussions I had with a fellow cd-trader from
New Mexico. I never really took to much in terms of addictive substances (with a slight exception made for alcohol in
my late college/early adult years) so the acquisition of compact discs seemed my true habit. I've been collecting for
a long time, and and have amassed quite a stack of music.
While this site is intended for my friends and my fellow cd traders, I've decided to comment on a few albums, and provide
an up-to-date list of my collection, want list, and trade list...

What's New?
SEPT 2007
As usual, I'm still a little behind trying to get caught up with the commentaries, but that's part of the fun! I've
back to work, but it won't stop me from looking forward to a few road trips/excursions, so if there's anything
you're looking for, send me an updated trade list via e-mail.
Again, I have been pleasantly surprised by the numbers of you who are looking at this site. The
e-mails I've received regarding the site have been amazing as well. Thanks again for some great artist/band
recommendations, very nice comments, and an overall positivity that I wouldn't expect with discussing a subject
with such a personal taste as music. My world is a sonic one, I guess!
I look forward to hearing your comments and responses. For ease of communications (and point of reference)
please put this Tripod site's name - CD's My Drug of Choice somewhere on the subject line before sending.
Whether it is for an updated listing, an old review from the archives, or for the store listings, I look forward to hearing
from other collectors with their stories from the stacks. Thanks again for your interest and support.
